Job Description : Senior Associate Consultant - MEA Total Rewards TRP
Role & Responsibilities :
The HR Consultant will be responsible for assisting clients in the design and implementation of a broad range of HR related solutions and will play a key role in the identification, development and closure of sales opportunities. The position will manage a variety of consulting projects that help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of the Human Capital Solutions team within Aon.
Key Responsibilities :
Solution Expertise
- Develop and deliver high quality, bespoke and effective solutions for our clients in the areas of job analysis, job evaluation, job level / grading structure design, rewards philosophy and strategy, salary structure design, executive and board compensation, short term, long-term and sales incentive plan design and total rewards communication solution areas
- Design and draft presentations that are appropriately tailored for the audience, including client project teams and Remuneration Committee and Board stakeholders
- Arrange and deliver workshops or public speaking sessions to share content related to rewards and HR trends in the market
- Support colleagues by providing knowledge, input and delivery to other Rewards team or broader consultancy projects
Project Management / Stakeholder Management
Develop project plans and manage projects / modules independently whilst ensuring quality, timeliness and profitability targets are metBuild strong and positive relationships across the client teams whilst being able to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels and work as part of a team to achieve project objectivesPresent solutions and recommendations independently in a structured and articulate manner to internal and external clients, including senior management and board level stakeholdersManage and lead junior team members as part of a project team, providing coaching and feedback to ensure their personal and professional developmentProactively develop relationships with contacts to assist in the identification, development and closure of sales opportunities and to initiate and secure participation in rewards related surveys such as compensation and benefits and rewards policy and practices surveysManage the request for proposal (RFP) process for small to medium size proposals, conducting scoping and fact-finding conversations with clients and prospects to ensure the delivery of proposals with a strong command on problem solving and storytelling through analyticsParticipate in writing large, cross-practice proposals, collaborating with other practices to develop and propose innovative client solutions and recommendationsDevelop new opportunities by introducing existing and prospective clients to other services and products in order to drive salesSupport our brand building activities by developing and delivering thought leadership in the marketSkills and Experience
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or Human Resource from a renowned university1-4 years of relevant experience in consulting in the human resources field specializing in the areas of HR consulting.Prior experience advising boards on executive compensation issues (including equity long-term incentive plans), or experience working on large HR Transformation projects will be an added advantageExcellent business writing and communication skills – especially report writingEffective facilitation skills – able to facilitate workshop / training sessions effectivelyStrong analytical and organizational skillsStrong project management skills, able to independently run projects, ensuring quality, timeliness and profitabilityStrong presentation and persuasion skillsProven client management or account management experienceLead and support business development activitiesActively network in the market and source new clientsEnjoy building relationships and is a team playerP roficient knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteFluent written and spoken English is essential, Arabic speaker is preferredSpecific competencies we seek include :
