Requirements & Configuration Engineer

We are currently considering candidates with aviation, other transportation or complex public accessible building project experience to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial and construction management) for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh.

Job Summary :

In this role, you will participate in reviewing the Design Consultants' design deliverables for compliance with facility / system functions, behaviors, and other design requirements. You will provide oversight on system-level design verification and test requirements validation.

You will analyse data for compliance and reporting that will develop your professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard systems engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.

Major Responsibilities :

• Analyse data for compliaince and reporting thatwill develop professional work knowledgeand abilities through the application ofstandard Systems Engineering techniques,procedures and criteria
• Participates in defining facility / system functions,behaviors, and other design requirements,prepares the required documents including but not limited to, management plans andcoordinates and facilitates technicaldiscussion to resolve system design issues
• Facilitate system-level design verification,requirements verification, test requirementsspecifications, and requirements flow downand traceability
• Provides technical assistance to other Systemspersonnel and interacts with project functions,the customer, and regulatory agency personnel inthe resolution of complex regulatory issues
• Evaluates, and recommend standard SystemsEngineering methods, techniques, procedures, andcriteria, using independent judgment in makingadaptations and modifications
• Use Project’s Systems Engineering tool (such as IBM DOORS) for Requirements / Configuration for progress tracking and reporting.
• Reviews facility / system functions, behaviors, andother design requirements, reviews the design criteriadocuments and coordinates and facilitatestechnical discussion to resolve system designissues
• Coordinates system-level design verification,requirements verification, test requirementsspecifications, and requirements flow down andtraceability
• Coordinates work and collaborates with otherengineering disciplines
• Provides assistance toproject and constructionmanagement in identifying and complying withproject Systems requirements and in addressingissues as they arise during project execution

Education and Experience Requirements :

Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills :

• Skill in assessing the scope of problems and developing practical solutions.
• Ability to coordinate and work with the other engineering disciplines, the client, designers, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate flexibility in balancing competing deadlines, priorities, and resource availability
• Able to identify and articulate opportunities for procedural improvement, provide solutions and carry out implementation.
• Must have strong organizational, and teamwork skills, proven problem-solving abilities, and the desire to innovate designs as well as architecture / engineering work processes.
• Proven ability to work within a diverse multicultural environment
