DevOps Engineer

in Uvera you will be the key driver of our product's development, deployment, and operational reliability. You will own the entire

CI / CD pipeline , from code commit to production monitoring, with a focus on

automation, security, and scalability . This is a highly impactful, hands-on role requiring a blend of software engineering skills, system administration expertise, and a proactive mindset toward operational excellence. Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform. Manage and optimize AWS resources, ensuring high availability and cost-efficiency. Develop and maintain Docker containers for various applications. Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes. Implement and manage CI / CD pipelines with Jenkins. Monitor system performance and health using Grafana and DataDog. Write and maintain shell scripts for automation and infrastructure management. Work with AWS IoT Core to integrate and manage IoT devices. Manage and monitor Kafka clusters for real-time data processing. Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and alerting. You are responsible for running a multi-tenant SaaS platform on AWS using EKS, RDS, and S3. One of the clients reports intermittent downtime and high latency during peak hours. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, explain how you would approach diagnosing and resolving the issue. Include details on monitoring, scaling, incident response, and ensuring the issue doesn’t happen again. Qualifications

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. Proven work experience in DevOps for at least 5+ years.,

it is a must. Extensive experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more. Proficient in containerization technologies, especially Docker. (AWS EKS, ECR, ECS) Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration. (AWS EKS, ECR, ECS) Solid understanding of CI / CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins. Proficiency in monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana and DataDog. Strong scripting skills, particularly in shell scripting. Experience with AWS IoT Core for IoT device management. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Ruby. Knowledge of other cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git. Solid understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, TCP / IP, VPNs, and firewalls. Knowledge of security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance standards. Experience with managing databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL databases. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Agile, Lean, or DevOps principles. Experience in creating and testing backup and recovery strategies. Ability to apply different deployment strategies like canary, blue / green, etc. Ability to work with load balancers, VPC, and Gateways. Preferred Skills

AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar. Experience with other infrastructure automation tools (Terraform). Familiarity with microservices architecture. Understanding of security best practices in a cloud environment. Strong expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Experience with logging tools like ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or Splunk. Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Mesos or Nomad. Ability to manage releases and integrate CI / CD with Jira. Type of employment
