AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.

The role in Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) Mumbai builds infrastructure that hosts AWS cloud services. It delivers AWS cloud infrastructure in a challenging, high growth, fast paced and customer focused work environment. In this role, you will lead cross functional teams to deliver usable data center capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Senior Infrastructure TIPM owns delivery of new DC supply across one or more availability zones in India.
  • Manage 10+ projects at any time.
  • Bridge internal customers, business functions, (Planning, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Policy, Operations), and functional delivery teams (Construction, Commissioning, Controls, Fiber and Network) to enable on-time and right sized delivery of new DC capacity.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years of program management experience
  • Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management.
  • Must be well organized and able to work effectively under cost and time pressure.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, metrics and methodologies

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree or advanced professional degree.
  • Bachelors and / or master’s degree from premium institutes
  • One or more of the following certifications : Agile, SCRUM, PRINCE2, PMP
  • Experience in management of complex technology infrastructure projects (e.g. data centers, telecom, energy)
  • Understanding of Information Technology, Cloud Computing concepts and specifically, AWS offerings.
  • Understanding of India cloud computing and data center market and service providers
