QC Manager

Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans. Supervise and guide QC inspectors, welding inspectors, and coating inspectors. Review and approve material test certificates, inspection reports, and quality documentation. Coordinate with production, engineering, and project teams to resolve quality issues. Monitor compliance with international standards (ISO, ASME, ASTM, AWS, NACE, etc.). Conduct internal audits and prepare for client / third-party inspections. Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Provide training and mentoring to QC team members. Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Industrial Engineering or related field. 8–10 years of quality control experience in steel fabrication, heavy manufacturing, or related industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of welding, coating, and material testing standards. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
