Responsibilities
Ensure warehouse operations meet client standards and company QHSE policies
Implement and maintain quality management systems, especially for food storage and handlingConduct regular inspections for product handling, storage temperature, and hygiene complianceLead investigations for any product non-conformity and develop corrective / preventive action plans (CAPA)Support internal and external audits, including client, ISO, and authority inspectionsMaintain all QHSE documentation and records up to dateHealth & SafetyEnforce compliance with occupational health and safety regulations within all warehouse zones
Conduct daily safety walks, hazard identification, and risk assessmentsInvestigate incidents and near-misses, report findings, and ensure timely closure of corrective actionsMonitor safe use of equipment (MHE, forklifts, etc.) and ensure operators follow safety proceduresEnsure all employees and visitors comply with PPE requirementsCoordinate emergency response drills (fire, evacuation, chemical spill, etc.)Food Safety & HygieneSupervise food storage areas to ensure compliance with hygiene, temperature, and cross-contamination standards
Coordinate pest control and ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP or ISO 22000Ensure cleaning and sanitation schedules are implemented and recorded properlyMonitor segregation between food and non-food items to prevent contaminationEnvironmental ControlMonitor waste management practices and ensure proper segregation and disposal of general and food waste
Ensure spill control, temperature monitoring, and environmental protection procedures are implementedMaintain compliance with local environmental regulations and company sustainability policiesTraining & AwarenessConduct induction and periodic refresher training sessions for warehouse employees on QHSE topics
Promote safety and hygiene awareness through toolbox talks and campaignsParticipate in QHSE meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesReporting & DocumentationMaintain and update all QHSE registers (incident, inspection, audit, and training records)
Prepare weekly and monthly QHSE performance reports for management and clientsTrack and analyze QHSE KPIs and ensure timely submission of corrective actionsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Food Safety, Quality, or a related discipline3–5 years of QHSE experience in logistics, warehouse, or food storage operationsKnowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 4501, ISO 14001, and food safety standards (HACCP / ISO 22000)Experience with temperature-controlled operations and client audit processesFamiliarity with local regulatory requirements (SFDA, Civil Defense, Ministry of Labor, etc.)Competencies
Strong communication and leadership skillsHigh attention to detail and strong observation skillsAnalytical thinking with ability to conduct root cause analysisAbility to train, influence, and promote safety culture across operational teamsProficiency in MS Office and QHSE reporting toolsBilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is a significant advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
