CBS is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager to lead our commitment to maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. In this essential role, you will develop, implement, and oversee HSE strategies and policies to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices. You will conduct risk assessments, build safety training programs, and promote a culture of safety awareness throughout the organization. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HSE policies, programs, and procedures to promote a culture of safety
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
  • Prepare and deliver HSE training sessions for employees and leadership teams
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Lead incident investigation processes, ensuring root causes are identified, analyzed, and addressed
  • Stay abreast of new regulations, industry trends, and best practices in HSE management
  • Collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders to ensure HSE requirements are integrated into all operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management, preferably within the construction or engineering sectors
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and environmental standards
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct effective risk assessments
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to drive safety initiatives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to report and present HSE information
  • Certification in HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001) is preferred
