Overview

We, Protouch Staffing Private Limited, India, are seeking an experienced Midwife for our client, a government healthcare facility in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The Midwife will be responsible for providing high-quality maternity care, supporting women through pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive prenatal, labor, delivery, and postnatal care to expectant mothers, ensuring a safe and positive birthing experience.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health, conducting routine assessments, ultrasounds, and screenings as needed.
• Assist and support mothers during labor, offering pain management techniques, emotional reassurance, and medical interventions when necessary.
• Conduct normal vaginal deliveries and assist in managing obstetric emergencies in collaboration with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate and counsel women and families on prenatal care, breastfeeding, newborn care, and reproductive health.
• Monitor newborns immediately after birth, ensuring their health and initiating necessary medical interventions when required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient, documenting care plans and treatment progress.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• Provide postpartum support, including monitoring maternal recovery, addressing complications, and assisting with infant care.
• Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives.
