Job Purpose

A Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment within a plant. This role involves performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and repairing components to minimize downtime and ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs : Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Equipment Operation : Ensure proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, including LIMS guidelines.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Minimum Qualification

Diploma Electrical & Electronics with good working knowledge in sheet metal fabrication machinery.

Minimum Experience

5–7 years experience in maintenance department, preferably in sheet metal manufacturing industry. Good exposure to industrial maintenance in Gulf region.
