Responsibilities
Develop and implement health, safety, and environment policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards
Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures
Provide training and education to employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices
Investigate accidents or incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Monitor and analyze HSE metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety programs
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to HSE
Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in HSE
Requirements
Prior experience in health, safety, and environment or a related field
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Certifications in HSE or related areas are a plus
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
