The Social Media Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, creating, and executing social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive measurable business results. This role blends creativity, strategy, and analytics to manage a brand’s presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Content Development
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with marketing and business objectives.
Plan and manage an editorial content calendar for all social platforms.Create and publish engaging, brand‑consistent content—including graphics, videos, stories, and posts.Identify emerging trends and platform updates to keep social strategies fresh and effective.Community ManagementEngage daily with followers through comments, messages, and discussions to build an active online community.
Monitor brand mentions and conversations across social media channels.Address customer inquiries and feedback promptly in coordination with customer service or PR teams.Paid Social CampaignsPlan, launch, and optimize paid social media campaigns across Meta (Facebook / Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and other platforms.
Set up audience targeting, track performance, and adjust campaigns to maximize ROI.Collaborate with the advertising team to align organic and paid efforts.Analytics & ReportingTrack and analyze performance metrics using tools like Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, and Google Analytics.
Generate monthly and quarterly performance reports with actionable recommendations.Continuously test and refine strategies based on data‑driven insights.Collaboration & BrandingWork closely with content creators, designers, and copywriters to ensure consistent brand messaging and tone of voice.
Partner with influencer marketing teams or external collaborators for campaign initiatives.Support cross‑channel marketing initiatives such as product launches, events, or promotions.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in social media marketing or digital content management.Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, Buffer).Strong understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and best practices.Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and visual communication skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social data and derive insights.Preferred Skills
