Key Responsibilities
- Work at the plant site within the Project Engineering Department to support project planning, scheduling, and project control activities.
- Collaborate with project engineers, engineering contractors, construction contractors, the in-house construction staff, and stakeholders to develop and update schedules, ensuring project timelines are met.
- Enhance project plans by identifying risks and opportunities, contributing to baseline adherence.
- Create detailed project plans, including activity breakdowns, resources, and cost loadings.
- Conduct critical analysis of projects, raising alerts for slippage and suggesting remedial measures.
- Continuously monitor and analyze project progress and efficiency, reporting and assisting project and construction staff.
- Identify plan implications related to scope changes.
- Control and prepare various project management charts and reports.
- Generate fortnightly reports on actual progress against planned progress.
- Attend progress meetings, analyze progress trends, and provide advice.
- Follow up on issues impacting project schedules.
- Generate a two-week look-ahead schedule for project engineers.
- Prepare progress monitoring charts for graphical visualization of projects.
- Support engineers, supervisors, and managers in presentations and meetings.
- Support the team with documentation, organizing meetings, and following up on activities.
- Develop and update project portfolio schedules in Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate new projects into the portfolio and update existing project details.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews, identifying dependencies, overlaps, and opportunities for optimization.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.Training and certification in project management, planning, and Primavera P6.Proven experience in similar roles in the petrochemical or refinery industry.Moving forward together
