About the job Project Manager (Saudi Nationals)
We are urgently looking for a Project Manager for one of our clients in the Energy Sector in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Years of Experience : 5 years
Educational Qualification : The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and be capable of Attesting in the Saudi Council of Engineers, with experience in overhead transmission lines or substations.

Notice Period : Immediate joiners or a maximum of one month notice period.
Job Summary : Work with Project Manager as part of a project management team to ensure successful implementation of Long-Term Operation and Maintenance projects with a focus on customer satisfaction and improved profitability.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Ensure efficient, timely and profitable performance of the contract.
- Overall management of all project staff.
- Safe execution of the project through the project safety plan and procedures.
- Implement all aspects of project quality management and control through the project quality plan and procedures.
- Ensure qualified manpower is available and mobilized in a timely manner, as required.
- Review project progress on all aspects (material submittals, drawings and actual site construction) with senior site staff regularly and take corrective actions to meet the project program.
- Manage contract documentation and ensure variations / claims are submitted accurately and on time, with effective follow-up for settlement within agreed timelines. Focus on value engineering, cost control and profitability targets.
- Review executing methods, resources, sequencing, testing and commissioning parameters based on technical specifications.
- Recommend the award of subcontract work to EVP.
- Review all purchase orders for technical requirements, delivery schedules and commercial terms prior to signing.
- Issue necessary instructions to sub-contractors / suppliers on all contractual matters.
- Coordinate with project engineers and quantity surveyors on contract changes and variations and ensure timely resolutions.
- Prepare cost and profitability statements and submit to EVP.
- Liaise with client PM and staff on issues affecting the project on a regular basis.
- Coordinate with Client Project Manager on technical and construction issues through weekly coordination meetings and as required.
- Approve supplier and sub-contractor invoices and other project expenses; release payments.
- Manage customer relationships for positive referrals and potential strategic partnerships.
- Contribute to Quality, Business Excellence & KM initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
