Senior Social Media Manager MENA (Fixed term until Jan 2027)

Join us as a Senior Social Media Manager at ESL FACEIT Group - EFG , where we create worlds beyond gameplay, driving community engagement across esports, gaming tournaments, leagues, and events.

Fixed Term Contract : Running through January 2027.

What you will do

Develop the social media strategy to expand EFG's brands presence in the MENA region.
Drive regional campaigns for the Esports World Cup, the world's largest gaming event held during the summer in Saudi Arabia.
Build the appropriate channel strategy to ensure high acquisition and engagement of the community(s) and set the editorial line for community‑centric communication.
Own and monitor KPIs, and establish their use to drive successful content strategies.
Work with the creative team to produce locally relevant creative and communication assets.
Communicate updates and reports efficiently for internal stakeholders.
Work cross‑functionally with global teams across multiple disciplines and departments including Marketing, Creative, PR, Sales, and others to articulate product and brand vision.
Brief departments, freelancers, and agencies with their scopes of work.
Maintain knowledge of cultural landscape, industry trends, audience needs and interests, to provide relevant content for engagement.

What you need

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in social media or content agency.

6+ years relevant experience in social media or agency work.

Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).

Strong understanding of the MENA market landscape, with a focus on Saudi Arabia.

Excellent copywriting skills in both languages.

Well‑versed in social media, live streaming, digital content, viewer analytics, and audience segmentation.

In‑depth knowledge of platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Discord.

Strong experience in community or community‑related fields; preferably in gaming. Track record of running social media campaigns (organic and paid).

Experience working with creative teams, content producers, media agencies, product management, content creators, and external stakeholders.

Experience engaging younger audiences in digital space; experience with esports / gaming or entertainment / sports a plus.
