Procurement Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions received from departments for information provided.
• Send Request for Quote to approved suppliers.
• Prepare and compare the quotes from different suppliers.
• Prepare instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and change notices.
• Coordinate and support the purchasing manager in the supplier approval process.
• Expedite or follow up with suppliers or external providers for shipment.
• Maintain supplier performance records in supplier history after receipt inspection.
• Collect the suppliers' legal and applicable documents for effective updation of supplier information.
• Follow up with the store department for internal shipment clearance and receiving inspection.
• Recruit and maintain suppliers that provide high quality products and services at competitive prices while upholding the highest code of ethics and conduct.
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
• Negotiate or supervise the negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Control and manage all purchasing of sub-contract requirements.
• Actively participate with all sub-contractors and suppliers to establish the HSE.
