Overview

Industry certified welder. Duties : Takes part in the repair service of bonded parts / assemblies for RSADF systems that are covered under the currently accepted TAA. Work location Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Supply welding guidance to the (directorate / section) manager. Collaborate with group for repair, test and also check out of launchers or various other tools calling for welding. Maintain all welding tools and misc. assigned devices in the depot to carry out job task. Knowledge of proper shop ventilation called for to carry out welding as well as understanding of just how to maintain the weld area (walls and floors) protected from stimulates and also warm steel. Detailed understanding of reading illustrations, blueprints and also understanding welding signs, as well as taking dimensions to prepare design and also procedures. Determining the appropriate welding devices, procedure and / or technique based upon demands. Setting up components for welding according to specs (e.g. cut material with powered saws and / or gas apparatus to match measurements). Run mills with abrasives, wire brushes, and / or carbides to prepare the parts that have to be welded. Align elements using a calipers, rulers etc and secure pieces. Weld parts making use of handbook or semi-automatic welding devices in various positions (upright, straight or above). Use any required authorized welding changes. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not endanger safety, comply with RSADF safety and security plans, procedures as well as standards. Must use safety helmets, respirators, gloves as well as garments as needed for safety. Perform various other related tasks as required by the section police officer. This position requires a Saudi person that is eligible to acquire any kind of called for Export Authorization. Responsibilities

Prepare and set up components for welding according to specifications. Weld parts using hand-held or semi-automatic welding devices in various positions. Follow safety plans and use required PPE. Provide welding guidance to manager and collaborate with teams as needed. Required Abilities / Qualifications

Ability to pass a physical hands-on welding test. Experience using electrical or hand-operated devices (mills, saws, squares, calipers, tape measures, etc.). Knowledge of reading drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and taking dimensions. Knowledge of corrosion treatment and repair of metal and fiberglass surfaces.
