We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth and expand our client portfolio within the critical Energy and Desalination sectors.

The Opportunity

This is a senior strategic role designed to drive the commercial success of our permanent placement division in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities with key players across the Kingdom's engineering landscape. Your primary objective will be to build a robust sales pipeline, establish strategic client relationships, and drive revenue growth. This is a superb opportunity for a seasoned business development professional with a deep understanding of the KSA market to make a significant impact and shape our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Business Development & Market Growth (60%)

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy targeting the KSA Energy and Desalination sectors.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new client accounts, from giga-project developers and national utility companies to international EPC contractors and engineering consultancies.
  • Generate leads through market research, industry networking, attending conferences, and leveraging your existing network.
  • Secure high-level meetings with key decision-makers (e.g., Heads of HR, Talent Acquisition Directors, C-suite executives) to present our value proposition.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact and needs analysis to proposal development, fee negotiation, and contract closing.

2. Client Relationship & Account Management (30%)

  • Build and cultivate strong, long-term partnerships with new and existing clients, positioning the company as their preferred recruitment partner.
  • Act as the primary commercial point of contact for key accounts, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and client satisfaction is high.
  • Collaborate closely with the recruitment delivery team to ensure a seamless transition from contract signing to successful mandate fulfilment.
  • Conduct regular client service reviews to identify opportunities for account growth and cross‑selling other services.
  • 3. Market Intelligence & Reporting (10%)

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, major projects, and competitive activity within the KSA engineering market to identify new opportunities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and activity reporting to senior leadership using the company's CRM system.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and collateral that support business development efforts in the region.

    Candidate Profile & Requirements

    Essential Criteria :

  • Experience : A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a Business Development, B2B sales, or client‑facing account management role.
  • Industry Knowledge : Must have experience working within the recruitment / staffing industry OR selling services directly into the Engineering, Energy, or Industrial sectors in Saudi Arabia.
  • Market Experience : A deep understanding of the KSA business culture and corporate landscape. Must have a demonstrable track record of winning new business in the Kingdom.
  • Sales Acumen : A strategic and sophisticated salesperson with outstanding negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Proven ability to meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets.
  • Network : An established professional network of contacts within HR, Talent Acquisition, or Operations in the target sectors is highly desirable.
  • Communication : Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Must be fluent in English (both written and verbal).
  • Autonomy : A self‑motivated and proactive individual capable of working independently to drive results.
  • Desirable Attributes :

  • Previous experience as a 360 Recruitment Consultant before moving into a pure Business Development role.
  • Experience in securing and managing large‑scale recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) or master vendor agreements.
  • Fluency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
