Position Summary Tanint is hiring a Field Services Core Engineer to support critical service delivery and operations for a major telecom client in Saudi Arabia. This role is essential for maintaining network stability, ensuring safety compliance, and executing on-site technical activities with precision.

Detailed Job Description As a Field Services Core Engineer, you will be the hands-on technical expert responsible for executing corrective and preventive maintenance, coordinating site activities, and supporting OSS / ENM outages. You’ll work closely with Service Delivery teams including Front Office, Back Office, Incident Management, and third-party vendors. The role demands strong multi-vendor telecom experience, hardware troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to field operations. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring service continuity, safety compliance, and high-performance network operations across 2G / 4G / 5G environments.

Responsibilities

Execute corrective maintenance to ensure uninterrupted service and network stability

Perform preventive maintenance and manage scheduling and documentation

Conduct site acceptance activities and complete project-specific checklists

Coordinate spare parts logistics and maintain inventory databases

Provide on-site support during OSS / ENM outages and system failures

Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards

Report and manage site issues affecting safety or service reliability

Required Qualifications & Skills

Strong knowledge of 2G / 4G / 5G service networks and multi-vendor telecom equipment

Hands-on experience with APZ21260, APG hardware troubleshooting

Proficiency in tools like CELLO, MO-Shell, FTP, Telnet, and Linux

Experience with Dell and Juniper switches

Ability to handle 1st & 2nd Level HW O&M alarms for CUDB, MSC-BC, MGW, RNC, HSS, HLR-FE

Familiarity with Ericsson PS Core nodes (EPG, MME, SAPC, IN / VAS)

Skilled in optical fiber troubleshooting (loop testing, fiber cleaning, VFL, power meter)

Understanding of HRV procedures and redundancy tests for BSC, MSC, HLR-FE

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Kubernetes, Wireshark, AWS, or cloud environments

Knowledge of OPIs for board replacements (SC, PL, DSG)

Exposure to automated operations and incident management workflows

Ability to work independently and manage field operations under pressure

Strong documentation and reporting skills
