Provide advanced guidance on claims and dispute resolution while ensuring compliance with international standards and protecting project-level commercial interests. Key Responsibilities : Lead tendering, procurement, and award processes for major projects. Negotiate contract terms with contractors and consultants to secure favourable outcomes. Provide project managers with expert advice on claims, variations, and contractual risks. Manage contract execution and ensure contractor performance is tracked against agreed KPIs. Oversee project-level compliance with organizational policies, legal frameworks, and international standards (e.g., FIDIC). Develop risk mitigation strategies for project-specific contractual and financial risks. Drive project cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting. Represent the project team in negotiations, mediations, and contractor engagements. Mentor and support mid-level professionals to build commercial capability.. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Quantity Surveying, or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred. Proficiency in contract management systems, ERP platforms, and advanced MS Office. Familiarity with international contract forms (e.g., FIDIC, NEC)..
