Job Description
Responsible for the design, engineering and technical support of LV panels, ensuring compliance with international standards (IEC) and local regulations.Coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams to deliver high‑quality solutions on time and within budget.Design, review and coordinate electrical systems involving LV components for large‑scale projects across Saudi Arabia.Provide strong technical expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering, manufacturing principles.Ensure all designs meet client expectations, Saudi building codes and international standards.Responsibilities
Design and develop Low Voltage switchgear panels (MDB, SMDB, DB, MCC, ATS, Capacitor Banks).Prepare electrical SLDs, GA drawings, control schematics and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD or EPLAN PRO.Perform load calculations, short‑circuit calculations, cable sizing and voltage drop analysis.Prepare technical submittals, datasheets and compliance documents for client and consultant approval.Collaborate with the production and assembly team to ensure design accuracy and quality control.Conduct site visits for technical support, commissioning and troubleshooting.Ensure designs comply with IEC standards, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) specifications and safety regulations.Coordinate with procurement for material selection.Attend FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests) with clients and ensure performance verification.Support the sales team with technical clarifications, BOQs and project bidding documentation.Liaise with suppliers, consultants and contractors to review technical submittals and resolve design issues.Support production and site teams during manufacturing, installation, commissioning and handover phases.Participate in value engineering, cost estimation and risk assessments related to LV interfaces.Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in LV Panel Design & Engineering.Proficient in AutoCAD, EPLAN PRO or similar design software.Strong understanding of IEC standards and SEC regulations.Knowledge of electrical protection systems, PLC integration and control wiring.Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.Strong knowledge of LV systems integration as per IEC 61439 Standards.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong knowledge of Saudi standards and authority procedures (Civil Defence, Ministry of Defence, Royal Commission, SEC, etc.).Experience on mega projects, ideally under SEC, Aramco or the infrastructure industry.Project management and team leadership experience.Knowledge of electrical devices and handling procedures specified by relevant authorities.Experience with ERP software and Microsoft Office.Benefits
