Overview We are seeking a
Lead Mechanical Engineer to
join Unconventional Resources Maintain Potential Projects Department (URMPPD).
The URMPPD is responsible for the Tie-In of more than 500 Gas Wells for the next two years throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with significant focus in Jafurah Area.
Your primary role is to be responsible for Tie-In of Gas Well Projects and associated facilities to include Pipeline, Trunk line, Flowlines (metallic and non-metallic), Remote Headers, Overhead Transmission Line and Water Disposal Wells, safely with high quality and optimum Cost and Schedule to maintain Company’s maximum sustain capacity of Gas from Unconventional Resources (UR)
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate the execution of UR Maintain Potential Facilities from the review and development of scope to commissioning of the facilities and performing post-completion analysis.
Coordinate the review of the content of scope from the company Technical and Financial documents.
Coordinate the preparation of the estimates for the Gas Well Tie Ins and related facilities and assure that the estimates have the required accuracy.
Guide the overall planning process and overall construction effort and Monitor expenditures of approved funds and cost and schedule control of assigned UR Facilities.
Coordinate the Material procurement activities for long lead and Aramco Supplied materials.
Review Significant aspects of UR Facilities under construction including site visits to Job Sites.
Ensure proper Job records are maintained and facilitate post-Project analysis.
Coordinate the preparation of required construction Contracts, technical information and other information required for the award of construction contracts.
Review bids for compliance to Company policies, procedures and scope or stated agreements as applicable.
Ensure that the Construction meet Saudi Aramco Standards and Specifications.
Provide Construction Supervision to ensure required safety and quality standards.
Approve contract payments and variations in line with the approval authority.
Monitor and control a system which will ensure timely project start-up and appropriate spare parts requirement.
Maintain project records including drawings, specifications, Logs, Project Correspondence and Close out reports.
Minimum Requirements
As a successful candidate you will hold Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
You will have 9 years’ experience or more related to the Design Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of Engineered Projects within the Gas and / or Oil industry.
Engineering license is .
Have thorough knowledge of Engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, US / Aramco Codes, Standards and Specifications.
You will be familiar with EPC system and Primavera application, among others.
