General Description of Role and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the preparation of the Project Quality Plan.
- Ensure that the activities on site are in compliance with the QA / QC procedures.
- Monitor Quality Management Plan implementation through Quality Control procedures and report findings to the Program Manager.
- Monitor non‑compliance problems with laws and regulations and coordinate the implementation of appropriate corrective actions.
- Reviews the contract documents for each Package in respect of QA / QC requirements and procedures and advises the Program Manager of any deficiency.
- Reviews QA / QC site organisation, key personnel CVs as submitted by the consultants and contractors and advises the Program Manager / Project Manager of his / her comments.
- Review QA / QC Procedures and document control submitted by the consultants and contractors and ensures implementation is in compliance with Contracts requirements.
- To review all contractual turnover documents and ensure that they are up to date and meet all requirements.
- Liaise with the appropriate departments for issues related to the Quality of the work.
- Participates in technical compliance audits on all on going work to ensure compliance of consultants and contractors.
- Interact with the clients quality assurance department.
- Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager / supervisor.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Management from an accredited university.Western experience and / or Education requiredProfessional experience of at least 17+ years, including holding the position of Quality Manager with large projects.Experience and familiarity with the cultural aspects of project management within the Kingdom.Extensive knowledge of quality principles / tools and their applications to engineering, environment, procurement, construction, testing, operations or decommissioning.Knowledge of applying reconciled corrective actions to cases of non-conformity.Knowledge of organisational requirements and functional specialisation that affect the quality plan program.Possess popular and editorial communication skills.The skill of providing guidance to individuals and training them on the job.Skill in managing financial performance.Familiarity with the use of computer applications and programs.Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager / supervisor.#J-18808-Ljbffr
