Requirements

A keen interest in the built environment and the dedication to see projects through to their conclusion.

Main Functions

• Work with the Design Principal, LDA to provide design leadership on multiple projects at the concept and schematics phase.
• Have a full understanding of project scope and schedule in coordination with Project Managers.
• Lead major milestone reviews with the Technical Project Architects & production teams to ensure continuity of design intent into Design Development (DD) and Construction Documentation (CD) phases.
• Collaborate on providing overall leadership and mentoring to junior team members to ensure design excellence across all project phases, including conceptual, presentation, and delivery aspects.
• Analyze project understandings, context, program, character, etc.
• Develop design concepts towards coordinated schematics.
• Follow the development of conceptual design intentions throughout the project delivery spectrum in DD / CD phases.
• Support client design meetings and develop / coordinate the preparation of project presentations for external parties.
• Manage multi-project tasking and coordination.
