Job Description

Summary Introduction

The Business Architect acts as a strategic bridge between business vision and enterprise execution. Utilizing recognized frameworks such as TOGAF, BPMN, ISO9000, and others, the role involves designing, governing, and evolving the business architecture to ensure that capabilities, processes, products, and initiatives deliver measurable value aligned with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of baseline and target business architectures, documenting current capabilities and defining future models aligned with strategic goals.
  • Identify gaps between current and future states and propose initiatives to bridge these gaps.
  • Promote the value of Enterprise Architecture to business leaders, demonstrating how frameworks accelerate outcomes.
  • Manage business-layer artifacts, ensuring high-quality documentation in the EA repository.
  • Establish and enforce principles and standards for business architecture and modeling conventions.
  • Partner with project teams to ensure solutions conform to enterprise architecture standards.
  • Conduct impact analyses to assess how changes affect capabilities, costs, risks, and customer experience.
  • Translate emerging business needs into architectural requirements and validate feasibility.
  • Contribute to EA roadmaps and governance, supporting transformation initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach organizational maturity in architecture and process disciplines.

    • Qualifications

    Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related; Master’s preferred.
  • 4+ years in enterprise / business architecture or related fields.

    • Certifications :

  • TOGAF9 / 10 Certified
  • CBAP, CBA (ABPMP), or CPRE
  • LeanSixSigma Black Belt
  • ISO9001 Lead Auditor / EFQM Assessor
  • ITIL, SAFe, or similar
