Senior Accountant

The General Accountant will support the Finance Manager and oversee all Accounts Payable, Construction Accounting, Taxation, Cash Management, and GL Closing functions for the SPV company.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage accounts payable functions including liaising with project management and other teams, validating contractor invoices against relevant contracts, and processing payments.
• Maintain accurate records related to projects such as progress status, contracts, and payments.
• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks and execute monthly closing activities by entering necessary adjustments in the ERP system.
• Prepare weekly / monthly bank reconciliations, updating direct cash flow statement and collaborating with banks as required.
• Reconcile accounts payable and related-party accounts on a regular basis, addressing reconciling items promptly.
• Prepare and file monthly / quarterly tax returns while maintaining meticulous tax records.
• Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate required schedules for annual and interim audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
• Assist in management reporting and support other external reporting tasks as needed.
