Manager, Finance Technology

Overview

Lead the Finance Technology function, including planning system development and financial process automation. Partner with the VP of Business Performance to define and execute the digital finance roadmap. Act as a strategic liaison between Finance, IT, and other business units to ensure technology initiatives align with financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance Technology function, including planning system development and financial process automation.
• Partner with the VP of Business Performance to define and execute the digital finance roadmap.
• Act as a strategic liaison between Finance, IT, and other business units to ensure technology initiatives align with financial objectives.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of financial planning systems (Anaplan, Oracle, SAP, etc.).
• Ensure the integrity, availability, and performance of financial data and planning tools.
• Manage system upgrades, testing, user training, and documentation.
• Lead the identification and automation of manual finance processes using tools such as Power Automate, Alteryx, or RPA platforms.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance organization.
• Ensure proper change management and governance processes are followed.
• Proven experience with Oracle EPM systems and / or finance process automation using tools like RPA, Power Automate, or Alteryx.
• Provide guidance and direction to the Planning Systems Specialist and Process Automation Specialist.
• Set clear goals, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development.
• Foster a collaborative and agile team environment.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Controllership, and other finance teams to understand evolving needs and deliver scalable solutions.
• Work closely with IT on system integrations, data governance, and architecture alignment.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
