KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning and Execution (with full alignment with Retail Director)

  • Propose, develop and implement business development strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Identify and analyze market trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive landscape to guide business strategy.
  • Create detailed business plans to achieve defined goals and quotas.

New Clients Recruitment and Relationship Management :

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with high-net-worth clients, both potential and existing.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop personalized experiences for clients through monthly activations.
  • Develop partnerships and collaborations with other luxury brands and influencers to enhance brand visibility.
  • Sales Performance Management :

  • Help set the yearly targets by watch advisor and monitor on monthly basis, ensuring the team meets or exceeds them. Conduct a monthly meeting with each WA to monitor performance.
  • Analyze sales data and market feedback to refine strategies and improve performance.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities and outcomes.
  • Brand Management and Positioning :

  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop and execute campaigns that enhance brand prestige.
  • Represent the brand at high-profile events, trade shows, and industry functions.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management :

  • Stick to the budget for business development activations.
  • Help find and negotiate contracts and agreements with potential luxury partners / venues / material supplies for the activations / events that are beneficial to the company.
  • Team Leadership :

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a solid retail team.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably within the luxury retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of luxury market dynamics and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business management tools.
  • A network of contacts within the luxury industry is highly desirable.
