Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading retail group in the KSA. Our client is looking to hire an E-commerce Operations Manager who will be responsible for managing and optimizing e-commerce operations, quick commerce, and last-mile development. This pivotal role will focus on streamlining in-store and partner-based e-commerce processes, implementing efficient SOPs, and scaling online grocery delivery and click & collect services. The Manager will drive the Q-commerce strategy by expanding into key markets, onboarding and collaborating with partners, and ensuring exceptional delivery speed and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role will support the design and execution of scalable last-mile solutions that balance speed, cost, and customer expectations while strengthening relationships with logistics providers and internal stakeholders to improve KPIs and enhance the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Operational Development
- Collaborate with the field team and operations team to manage and optimize e-commerce operations within stores and across strategic retail partners.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) that ensure efficient picking, packing, and order fulfilment processes.
- Lead the scaling of online grocery delivery and click and collect services, ensuring seamless coordination between store operations, technology, and customer service.
Quick Commerce Expansion
Drive the development of the quick commerce (Q-commerce) strategy and oversee its rollout in key markets.Identify and onboard new Q-commerce partners; work closely with existing ones to optimize infrastructure, technology, and service delivery.Monitor performance and customer satisfaction to ensure best-in-class delivery speed and experience.Last Mile Development
Design and implement scalable last-mile solutions that balance speed, cost, and customer expectations.Work cross-functionally to enhance delivery tracking, order accuracy, and real-time communication with customers.Build strategic relationships with last-mile logistics providers and internal stakeholders to improve delivery KPIs.Requirements
A minimum of 5 Years of experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or last-mile delivery, preferably in grocery or retail sectors.Understanding of the Middle East market and consumer behavior in the region.Proven ability to manage partner relationships, field operations, and cross-functional teams.Data-driven with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.Benefits
