Chief Operating Officer - Tech, AI & Digital Solutions Excellent new position with a leading company in the Artificial Intelligence ecosystem based in Saudi Arabia, with clients across the Middle East’s engineering, technology, and consulting space, focused specifically in the industrial, manufacturing, O&G and utilities markets.

The company is growing at a rapid pace due to its excellent relationships with some of the most influential government entities, multinational organizations and SME businesses.

Our client is at the forefront of advanced technology solutions in line with the Saudi 2030 vision with proven expertise in Digital Consulting, Systems Integration, Smart City, Digital Twin, IoT Integration, Asset Performance Management and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM).

They offer a wide variety of end-to-end services and solutions across Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, IoT & Smart Devices, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, VR / AR, Robotics and RPA.

We need a Chief Operating Officer to with directly with the CEO to grow the business.

Responsibilities :

Execute the company short and long term growth strategy targeting AI and Digital services and products development

Expand business development and sales initiatives to secure new contracts, expand existing partnerships, and achieve aggressive revenue targets focusing on major clients, i.e. PIF, Mega Government Projects, Government entities, Energy, Industrial, etc.

Build more robust sales and tendering team to compete on and secure major tenders

Expand the ecosystem of partners to qualify for more projects in AI and Digital Domains

Expand the delivery capability in Saudi, India and Egypt as well as through service partners

Inspire, mentor and grow a high-performing leadership team spanning over operations, engineering, and business development.

Oversee P&L, budgets and forecasting to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.

Identify new markets, partnerships, and acquisition opportunities to strengthen the company’s position as a leader in providing AI & Digital technologies and services.

15-20 years of experience in the IT, AI and / or Digital domains with 10+ years of proven success as a senior-level executive with reputable suppliers of technologies and / or services in the region

Well established executive-level network with targeted clients, hyperscaler and major technology providers

A strong track records in setting up AI and Digital companies and driving their success

Preference toward Arabic speaker who have already been working in the region with success stories in the Saudi market

Demonstrated ability to generate and close new business to meet aggressive sales and revenue targets

Excellent technical knowledge of AI and Digital solutions, engineering and development.

A strong commercial acumen with experience in P&L management and revenue growth.

Ability to inspire, align, and grow cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

15-20 years of experience in IT, AI and / or Digital domains with 10+ years in senior leadership roles

Well established executive-level network with targeted clients, hyperscalers and major technology providers

Strong track record in starting and scaling AI and Digital companies

Arabic language proficiency preferred, with experience in the Saudi market

Proven ability to generate and close new business to meet aggressive targets

Excellent technical knowledge of AI and Digital solutions, engineering and development

Strong commercial acumen with P&L management experience

Ability to inspire, align, and grow cross-functional teams
