FSTD Support Engineer I-EN

Responsibilities include :

• Support Flight Simulator Training Devices and other training devices : attend maintenance calls, device setup, conversions, demos, assist during simulator flight tests, support snag clearance activities, etc.
• Independently perform Preventive Maintenance Tasks (PMTs), Daily Readiness (DR), Recurrent QTG runs, Aircraft Database (ADB) updates, & IOS Lesson Plan (LP) updates on training devices and associated systems. Keep records up to date and address deficiencies.
• Maintain and request consumables and tools necessary for maintenance tasks.
• Perform troubleshooting on training devices using schematics and documentation; monitor systems like SimHub / Simissues; record activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Potentially serve as Device Caretaker, Task Caretaker, or Lead for training devices, managing roles autonomously and updating procedures as needed.
• Participate in On the Job Training (OJT) of apprentices and support complex maintenance tasks, consulting senior colleagues or specialists as needed.
• Support logistics activities including inventories, store re-arrangements, packing, and shipping preparations; perform administrative and housekeeping tasks.
• Adhere to CAE Environmental Health & Safety standards and safe working procedures, ensuring safety for oneself and others.
