Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production and material plans in line with project requirements and delivery schedules.
• Create and maintain detailed job schedules, Gantt charts, and progress tracking reports.
• Monitor project execution, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with procurement to ensure on-time availability of raw materials, forgings, and components.
• Coordinate with Engineering and QA / QC to ensure product compliance with API standards.
• Conduct capacity planning and resource loading based on project backlog and forecasts.
• Update ERP / MRP systems with accurate job routing, lead times, and progress updates.
• Prepare weekly / monthly production status reports and participate in project review meetings.
• Assist in audits and documentation related to planning, scheduling, and API compliance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production planning processes.
