Woodston Personnel is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant in Pediatric Emergency Medicine to join our clients dynamic Emergency Department. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality specialized emergency care for children in a leading healthcare institution committed to clinical excellence innovation and compassionate care.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical care to pediatric patients presenting with emergency conditions.
• Lead and supervise the pediatric emergency team including junior doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.
• Ensure timely and accurate assessment, diagnosis and treatment of acute pediatric emergencies.
• Participate in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines, policies and best practices within the pediatric emergency department.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide teaching, training and mentorship to residents, fellows and medical students.
• Participate in quality improvement, audit activities and clinical governance initiatives.
• Contribute to departmental research and continuing professional development programs.

Job requirements

Essential Qualifications (One of the following certifications is required) :

Completion of a structured accredited 23-year Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship Program is mandatory.

Minimum 34 years of independent practice post board certification and fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at a consultant level or equivalent.
