The Architectural Designer will support the Business Development Department by preparing concept designs, feasibility layouts, and architectural studies that align with the company’s strategic projects. The role focuses on translating business concepts into design proposals, supporting feasibility studies, and providing design input for tenders and investment cases. This position does not involve site supervision but plays a key role in shaping projects at the conceptual and pre-execution stage. Position Summary
The Architectural Designer will support the Business Development Department by preparing concept designs, feasibility layouts, and architectural studies that align with the company’s strategic projects. Key Responsibilities
Concept & Feasibility Design : Develop architectural concept designs, site layouts, and massing studies for new projects. Support feasibility studies with preliminary design options, ensuring alignment with market and business objectives. Prepare visual presentations, diagrams, and design reports for management decision-making. Business Development Support : Provide architectural inputs for project proposals, RFPs, and TFPs. Work closely with the Business Development team to translate project briefs into initial designs. Assist in developing project branding, architectural narratives, and design briefs for consultants. Coordination & Approvals : Coordinate with consultants, engineering teams, and external design offices during concept and pre-concept phases. Ensure designs comply with local authority regulations, zoning, and building codes. Support preparation of documents for management and board approvals. Produce 2D / 3D visualizations, renderings, and architectural illustrations to support presentations. Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development teams to showcase project concepts. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus). 3–6 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in real estate development, consulting, or design studios. Strong portfolio demonstrating concept and feasibility design work. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering software (Lumion, 3ds Max, etc.). Knowledge of Saudi building codes, authority regulations, and real estate market trends is an advantage. Strong design presentation and communication skills. Creative and innovative thinking. Strong visualization and presentation skills. Ability to translate business ideas into practical design solutions. Teamwork and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
