About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Controls Manager PMO to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our Project Management Office (PMO), you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing project controls across multiple large-scale initiatives, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Develop and implement project control systems, processes, and procedures to enhance project performance and reporting
Lead the project controls team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members
Establish and maintain project baselines, including scope, schedule, and cost
Conduct regular project performance analysis and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management
Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives
Oversee the development and maintenance of project schedules, cost estimates, and forecasts
Implement earned value management techniques to track project progress and performance
Ensure compliance with local regulations and business practices in Saudi Arabia
Continuously improve project control methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
Additional certifications in project controls or related areas
Minimum 8-10years of experience in project controls or related field, with a focus on large-scale projects
Proven experience in managing project controls teams and processes
Advanced proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)
Strong skills in data analysis, cost control, budgeting, and schedule management
Expertise in risk management and performance measurement techniques
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Experience working in the Middle East, preferably in Saudi Arabia
Knowledge of local regulations and business practices in Saudi Arabia
Familiarity with construction or engineering industry practices
Understanding of contract management and procurement processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced Excel skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
