Job description

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Professional to join our Finance team and oversee day-to-day financial & accounting operations (AP, AR, GL), audits, reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial records.

Position : General Accountant

Department : Finance

Reports to : Finance Manager

Location : Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded in the accounting system.
  • Bank Reconciliation & Trial Balance
  • Handle Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Support monthly / yearly closing & statutory audits
  • Assist with VAT & WHT compliance (ZATCA)
  • Prepare accurate reports & ensure smooth financial operations

Preferred Candidate

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s in Accounting (ICMAI / CMA / ACCA preferred)
  • 4–5 years’ experience in Accounting & Finance operations
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel & accounting software
  • Excellent analytical & reconciliation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

    • Skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
