Accountant, BSS KSA - Jeddah

Responsibilities : Support the Finance Manager in preparing monthly and annual financial statements and reports. Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and budgeting activities. Prepare financial reports and statements to monitor results, trends, and forecasts. Manage invoices, payments, receipts, and other bookkeeping tasks in line with company policies. Assist with budgeting, expense management, and financial analysis. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation. Ensure compliance with financial procedures, accurate record-keeping, and proper use of finance systems. Your profile : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. Accounting certification (e.g., CMA or CPA) will be an added advantage. Years of experience and other skills : Minimum of 2 years in an accounting role in the shipping, logistics or supply chain sector. Previous experience in accounting-related duties. Knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IFRS). Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of the laws and regulations locally as well as international standards. Must be well-versed with accounting software like Tally, Quick Book, etc. Sound comprehension of cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and bookkeeping. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles. Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic. Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports and statements. The place of work is in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
