Description :
Position requires a skilled structural mechanic to perform Planned Maintenance Interval Inspections (PMI), organizational, intermediate, and depot level maintenance on H-60 helicopters. This includes troubleshooting, testing, inspections, and repairs of hydraulic components, flight controls, pumps, landing gear, tires, and pressurized systems.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Perform maintenance and repair of major assemblies, hydraulic, pneumatic, and related systems on H-60 helicopters.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, fault detect, isolate, and correct issues in hydraulic components and systems.
- Maintain all documentation, forms, records, and reports in accordance with applicable references, including the NAMP.
- Operate and maintain ground support equipment and tools for power plant maintenance and repair.
- Provide On-the-Job-Training (OJT) for Saudi technicians and personnel, maintaining training records.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required :
At least 8 years of current or previous experience in complex helicopter mechanical work, including inspection, assembly / disassembly, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of hydraulic components, airframes, landing gear, and rotor systems.Ability to install, adjust, align, and perform functional and operational tests on major aircraft systems and components such as hydraulic servos, pumps, rotor blades, and flight controls.Experience in disassembling and reassembling components, determining repairs, and conducting checkout procedures.Ability to visually inspect components for corrosion, wear, and proper adjustments.Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, special tools, test stands, and external power sources.Knowledge of the operation, installation, and adjustment of major aircraft systems and subsystems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Ability to inspect landing gear components for damage, leaks, and proper lubrication.Capability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Must pass a background check and drug test; may require obtaining and maintaining a secret clearance.Work Environment, Physical, and Mental Demands :
Must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations for disabilities.Ability to walk, stand, climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands for extended periods.May need to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to distinguish colors and judge three-dimensional depth.Other Responsibilities :
