At Arena Events & Venues , we're dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences through world-class events and dynamic venue management. We’re seeking a highly organized, proactive Operational Readiness Head to join our team in Saudi Arabia.

The Operational Readiness Head will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and overseeing the delivery of all readiness plans. This role ensures the delivery of the readiness strategy and plan. Achieving operational readiness must be viewed as an integrated objective by all entities involved in delivering the event.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Create detailed readiness plans, including milestones, timelines, and key deliverables.
  • Define and coordinate the delivery of simulation exercises (e.g., tabletop exercises, venue walkthroughs, test events).
  • Collaborate with functions / projects to identify readiness objectives, ensure these are tested across multiple exercises, and track outcomes on the readiness database.
  • Coordinate with procurement for contracting readiness consultants, whether internal or external, as required by the operational readiness delivery strategy.
  • Support the delivery of the Transfer Knowledge Program, including Post Tournament Reports.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Education : A Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • Experience : At least 8 years in major international sports events.
  • Skills : Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills; strong understanding of functional planning processes and integrated event delivery; experience in strategic planning, operational analysis, and using tools to monitor progress and identify issues.
