Senior Data Steward

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relative major.
• Minimum experience of 8-10 years, mainly in financial institutions full / partially (minimum 3-4 years in financial industry).
• Arabic speaker is a must.
• Rich experience in BI Analytics or ETL development on Data warehousing environments in banking domain.
• Banking domain experience.
• DAMA certified is a plus.
• Familiar with NDMO domains and has hands on implementation.
• Proficient in data analysis techniques and tools with a strong analytical mind-set.
• Familiarity with data stewardship practices and governance principles.
• Experience in data profiling, validation, and discrepancy resolution.
• Knowledge of data modelling and ability to contribute to data flow design (data warehouse & Big data).
• Strong documentation skills for maintaining data-related documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
• Understanding of data-related tools and technologies (ex. Axon).
• Knowledge of data quality best practices with a commitment to ensuring data integrity.
• Proactive problem-solving skills for timely resolution of data issues.

The most important special requirements needed for this role : Analyse the data life cycle and contribute to data model development and participate in designing data flows for reporting and analytics.
