Overview
The Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company’s compliance framework in line with Saudi regulatory requirements, international standards, and internal governance practices. The role ensures that the holding company and its subsidiaries comply with laws and regulations, particularly those issued by SFDA, MOH, MISA, ZATCA, CMA, SADAIA, LCGPA, and other relevant authorities. The Compliance Manager will also lead compliance monitoring, provide advisory support, and drive a culture of integrity across the group.
Area of Responsibility
- Develop and maintain the Compliance Program, policies, and procedures for the holding company and subsidiaries.
- Monitor adherence to applicable Saudi laws, regulations, and PIF governance requirements, ensuring timely updates and compliance actions.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments, maintain the compliance risk register, and report findings to management and the Audit Committee.
- Provide advisory guidance to business units on compliance obligations (pharmaceutical, biotech, investment, labor, data privacy, and financial regulations).
- Liaise with regulators such as SFDA, MOH, CMA, ZATCA, and MISA, and coordinate responses to inspections, audits, and inquiries.
- Design and execute compliance monitoring and training programs to enhance awareness across the organization.
- Support investigations into compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare periodic compliance reports and dashboards for management and Committees.
- Ensure alignment with the governance framework, including policies on transparency, anti-bribery, AML, and local content requirements.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in law, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
Work Experience
Prior experience in an investment holding or multinational environment.7 years of experience in compliance, governance, or regulatory affairs.At least 3 years in a supervisory compliance role within pharmaceuticals, biotech, healthcare, or financial services.Demonstrated experience interacting with Saudi regulators (SFDA, MOH, ZATCA, CMA, etc.) is highly desirable.Required Skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong business acumen coupled with a dedication to ethical and legal compliance.Professional Certifications (preferred but not mandatory) : CCEP / CCEP-I, CAMS, ISO 37301Seniority level
