Overview

The Site Supervisor Engineer for Woodworks Installation plays a critical role in overseeing the installation of wooden structures and fixtures in various construction projects. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure that all woodwork installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The Site Supervisor will coordinate with various teams, manage resources, and ensure compliance with project timelines and specifications. Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the installation of woodworks on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications. Coordinate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of woodwork elements. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during installation processes. Manage and supervise a team of carpenters and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily reports and progress updates. Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the installation process. Assist in the procurement of materials and ensure that they meet quality standards. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and new team members. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of woodwork installations. Preferred Candidate

Coordinated with client engineers for precise on-site measurements (Woodworks), ensuring feasibility before production. Preparation and production of detailed shop drawings with (AutoCAD) for woodworking and furniture, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications and clients Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and design needs, and develop creative solutions to meet those needs Site installation scheduling and implementation to ensure that all design work meets the highest standards of quality and is delivered on time and within budget Calculation of lead time for project installation activities. Providing site reports, technical advice & solving problems onsite. Skills

Excellent skills in AutoCAD Proficient in carpentry and woodwork installation techniques. Strong understanding of construction safety regulations. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to use construction tools and machinery safely. Knowledge of building codes and standards related to woodworks. Effective communication skills for team collaboration. Experience with project management software. Ability to perform quality inspections and assessments.
