Training Specialist, Last Mile - Training Team Job summary : Training Specialist Job Description. At Amazon, our mission is to be the most customer‑centric company on earth. To get there, we need self‑driven people. Amazon Last Mile learning team is seeking a training specialist to support operations trainings to the last mile vertical. Overall responsibility includes boosting the competencies of our employees by developing and conducting effective training programs. The person will indirectly help enhance the employee’s workplace performance in conjunction with the company’s core values to meet the goal of the organization. This role requires travel for business requirements.
Responsibilities
Own business goals and intervene by identifying knowledge gaps to be filled.
Proactively recommend ways and support the mapped AMZL and EDSP stations towards meeting business goals.
Proactively track mapped stations performance and pre‑announce training interventions.
Supervise structured learning metrics and also oversee their results for the assigned territory and region.
Managing live performance metrics end to end for the assigned territory.
Conduct learning sessions on new processes as well as BQM through ITL or digital learning as per the requirement. Deliver various training courses as continuous learning.
Maintain data and analysis through reports on Excel (as per business requirement).
Ensure completion of new‑hire training program, coaching & other performance improvement programs on time.
Partner with operations leaders while conducting station audit to check process compliance and fix gaps immediately.
Identify learning coaches & certify them.
Lead individual improvement projects to enhance business performance.
Drive quality & learning metrics.
Conduct Chime sessions & classroom sessions for the stakeholders.
Build strong connection with stakeholders and support business by proactively offering visibility on recurring outliers.
Keep business and stakeholders updated about all training interventions.
Hold a strong hand in Excel, PPT, AI tool content creation, email writing.
Own territory‑specific or zonal projects and drive in quality & learning related metrics.
A day in the life
Track day‑to‑day business metrics and plan visits to mapped stations for metric improvement.
Involve and engage well with mapped LA / LGs for daily L&D activities.
Offer visibility on daily reporting and progress updates.
