Overview
We are seeking a Communications Data Analyst to join the Communications Strategy Department.
The Communications Strategy Department is a key department within Corporate Communications of Saudi Aramco. The department manages, tracks and executes the company's advertising campaigns, corporate sponsorships and develops communication and content strategies as well as tracks and monitors the reputation of the company in key target markets around the world.
As a Communications Data Analyst you will be responsible to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets based on established models to provide actionable insights on our company's reputation and brand in different markets and segments, and suggest data‑driven strategies to improve it.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the company's global quantitative reputation study and supporting qualitative program of focus groups and in‑depth interviews
- Oversee the company's social listening and insights program system which gauges all Saudi Aramco sentiment across digital media platforms incl. traditional media, social media, and digital media and forums
- Oversee company brand measurement and research to identify return‑on‑investment from advertising and sponsorships
- Develop relevant KPIs and track performance for regular KPI reporting
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal partners to track and measure impacts across events, communications and public relations activities
- Manage the company's central hub and repository of reputation and brand research and data
- Manage contracting and invoicing associated with the contracted agencies
- Conduct high‑level statistical analysis on available datasets for integrated driver analysis
- Develop survey and data sourcing design guidance to drive statistical connectivity across diverse data sets while ensuring statistical relevance and cost effectiveness of individual studies
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline from an accredited university. Advanced degree is a plus.15+ years of experience in data science, market research or analyticsStrong project management experienceDemonstrated ability to draw insights from and understand structured and unstructured dataAbility to work with technical tools such as : SPSS, Power BI, and Tableau in addition to Pulsar and other audience intelligence softwareAdvanced written, presentation, and verbal communication and people skills; must be adept at relating communicating and presenting data to non‑experts / non‑technical professionalsProficiency in languages like Python, R and SQL is requiredExtensive background in quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis and visualization, machine learning and statistical modelingJob Post Duration
