Specialist, Data Steward

The Specialist, Data Steward will be responsible to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of organizational data across systems and processes. This role is responsible for maintaining data quality standards, enforcing governance policies, and monitoring compliance with data management practices. The Data Steward collaborates with business units, IT security, and data owners to resolve issues, define rules, and ensure proper usage of critical data assets. Objective of this role is to ensure data is correctly classified hence reducing risks from poor data management and enabling data-driven decision-making. Ultimately, the Data Steward ensures that data is treated as a trusted, strategic asset.
