Responsibilities
- Maximize sales volume and achieve distribution targets while minimizing stale products.
- Implement agreed merchandising standards and collect accounts receivable, maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Follow operating procedures to ensure consistency of standards across the KSA region.
- Provide supervisor with latest market information to develop sales opportunities; attend training courses to improve professionalism and customer service; complete daily debriefings with supervisor.
- Sell the full range of products to an agreed list of customers; meet or exceed targets; keep stale levels below target.
- Maintain customer service standards as approved by the supervisor; manage daily call frequency and route plans to ensure customer satisfaction; supervisor reviews daily visits during debriefings.
- Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks; maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness; report defects promptly.
- Agree order requirements for the next selling period; maintain customer stock levels to minimize out-of-stock issues.
- Implement in-store merchandising as directed by the supervisor; coordinate with any company merchandiser for outlet plans.
- Advise supervisor of relevant competitor activity in the area; discuss during daily debriefings.
- Reconcile cash, cheques and credit sales daily; ensure zero stock and cash shortages; maintain neat and professional appearance.
- Maintain high driving standards and adhere to driving regulations.
- KPIs include daily / weekly sales vs planned, daily positive calls vs plan, daily call sequence vs plan, stale levels vs target, and zero cash & stock shortages; disciplinary action may apply for underperformance.
