Senior Mechanical Engineer (Piping)

Penspen is looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer-Piping to join our engineering team for a major Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) project.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in review / approval of the FEED engineering activities and deliverables, i.e. design calculation, piping layout drawings, specification, and optimization of piping systems and associated valves for oil & gas, and petrochemical projects. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure all mechanical piping designs meet project requirements, standards, and client expectations. Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and experience in major brownfield FEED / EPC projects will be an advantage for the candidate.

The position is to be based outside KSA, you may be required to work in KSA.

Key Responsibilities

Piping Systems (Piping, Supports, Valves, and all associated Fittings).

• Technical / Engineering Roles :

Prepare / review detailed engineering piping design, specification and technical datasheets of valves, and all associated fittings for FEED projects.

Identify / analyze FEED technical issues (Piping design specs, vibration, support failure, thermal stress and corrosion etc.) related to design and installation of piping systems and provide technical solutions during FEED phase.

Participate in HAZOP session.

Coordinate with client and FEED engineering disciplines (e.g., civil, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure piping systems are well integrated into overall project defined scope and requirements.
