Senior Director - Development - Hospitality (Stadium Hotel)

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a visionary Senior Director – Development with deep expertise in the hospitality sector to join our executive team.

This role is pivotal in leading, planning, and executing world-class hotel developments, ensuring Qiddiya delivers a destination that redefines guest experiences.

As Senior Director – Development, you will be responsible for driving high-profile hospitality projects and overseeing the full lifecycle from concept through delivery, embedding innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence in every initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of hospitality-focused strategies and initiatives aligned with Qiddiya’s vision and international standards of excellence.
• Manage the end-to-end development process for hotels, from feasibility and concept through handover and operations.
• Collaborate with global hotel operators, architects, designers, and contractors to ensure seamless execution that meets brand, regulatory, and guest experience standards.
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps across luxury, lifestyle hospitality segments.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel operators, government entities, investors, and community representatives.
• Identify potential risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies to address challenges throughout the development process.
• Champion sustainability by embedding green building practices and ESG principles in all hospitality developments.
• Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management and the board on project status, budgets, and critical milestones.
• Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the development team.
