The Oncology Product Manager is a crucial role within the commercial team and is responsible for leading the brand strategy, execution and measurement to support the commercial success of our oral Oncology portfolio. This individual develops overarching marketing strategies and tactics, monitors brand performance, and prepares business updates for leadership. They work closely with sales, medical, and digital engagement teams to ensure strategic execution and a performance-oriented culture. The role requires a deep understanding of the Specialty market, preferably Oncology, and involves cross-functional collaboration, project management, and leadership of the brand internally and externally. This position reports to the Business Unit Director and is key to building on our company’s heritage in Oncology. Responsibilities
Own brand positioning, branding, campaign, and core messaging Lead cross-functional team to develop and execute an annual integrated brand plan, including budgets, prioritization of tactics, and a KPI measurement plan Develop marketing tactical plans for market-shaping and branded activities driven by market dynamics to achieve business objectives Work with internal and external partners to define success metrics and analyze performance of marketing programs; optimize plans as needed and develop recommendations for future plans Provide thought leadership for market and therapeutic area understanding across the organization Ensure appropriate channel mix and content strategy Partner with digital engagement team to develop strategy, execution and measurement for all digital promotion including omnichannel engagement Lead the brand value team to develop stakeholder insights; ensure awareness and education of key internal stakeholders Oversee planning and execution of brand commercial tactics for all congresses, aligning with overarching strategy Develop and manage strategy, planning, and execution for advisory boards, integrating insights to optimize marketing plans Manage Brand Marketing budget and collaborate with partners to optimize spend and maximize value Contribute to short and long-term brand forecasting Collaborate with Portfolio Marketing to ensure effective management of brand resources Work with training and sales leadership to optimize development and utilization of resources; deliver Field Force training and communications Lead team in presenting brand strategy at training classes Collaborate with Regional and Global Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Digital Engagement, Controlling, P2P, and Market Access to advance the brand Oversee and support promotional material through legal, medical, and regulatory review processes Manage agency partner relationships to ensure marketing excellence and flawless execution Develop quarterly insights questions with BVT; engage thought leaders to gather input on strategy and market dynamics Conduct field visits Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications
BS degree or MS degree; 6+ years of experience 6+ years proven experience in pharmaceutical and / or healthcare industry Specialty experience, preferably Oncology; understanding of landscape, community and academic Oncology dynamics, payer landscape, and Pharmacy stakeholders 3+ years of marketing experience collaborating with design firms and internal teams Ability to travel up to 40% Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred Proficient in digital marketing Project and vendor management skills including budget management, planning, prioritization, objective setting, and logistics execution Excellent communications skills; ability to present to internal and external stakeholders Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams Results-oriented and able to influence without authority Strong analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient impact High ethical standards and personal integrity Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel Launch experience (pre and post launch) Experience presenting to various levels of the organization and responding clearly to questions Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and collaborate with internal and external partners What we offer
