At Rawafid, we are on the lookout for a dedicated and knowledgeable BIM Manager who will play a crucial role in our project development processes. The BIM Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across various projects, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration among all stakeholders. You will utilize your technical expertise to enhance our capabilities in 3D modeling and data management, allowing us to deliver exceptional projects on time and within budget. Your leadership skills will be vital in fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within our BIM team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), ensuring alignment with project requirements, client standards, and ISO 19650 principles. Establish and enforce BIM standards, templates, model naming conventions, and workflows across all disciplines (Architectural, Structural, MEP, Infrastructure). Lead the integration of BIM protocols, model coordination, and data management systems throughout all project stages — design, construction, and handover. Manage multi-disciplinary BIM coordination, ensuring models are fully integrated and clash-free through tools like Navisworks Manage, BIM Collaborate Pro, or Solibri. Conduct model audits, clash detections, and coordination meetings, documenting and tracking design issues to closure. Supervise and guide BIM Coordinators, Modelers, and Engineers in model setup, data entry, and compliance with project standards. Oversee the creation and maintenance of Common Data Environments (CDE) such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC Docs), BIM 360, or SharePoint. Ensure information exchange (LOD / LOI requirements) is properly defined, controlled, and delivered according to project milestones. Support data extraction, model-based quantity take-offs (QTO), and 4D / 5D BIM integrations with scheduling and cost control teams. Integrate BIM processes with project planning (Primavera / MS Project) and cost management systems for 4D and 5D simulations. Lead the adoption of Digital Twins, GIS integration, and asset data models for operations and maintenance phases. Identify opportunities for workflow automation using tools such as Dynamo, Python, or Revit API scripting to improve efficiency. Review and validate all BIM models for geometry accuracy, data completeness, and standards compliance before submission. Implement QA / QC checks and model review logs to ensure model integrity throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct internal BIM audits and produce reports identifying non-compliance and corrective actions. Provide ongoing training and technical support to BIM Coordinators, Engineers, and Drafters to ensure consistent adoption of BIM best practices. Develop training materials, standard workflows, and process documentation to enhance in-house BIM capability. Mentor project teams in collaborative model sharing, coordination practices, and version control procedures. Represent the company in BIM coordination meetings, client presentations, and consultant discussions. Ensure BIM deliverables meet client information requirements (EIR) and project BIM protocols. Collaborate with IT and project management teams to ensure BIM software, licenses, and hardware infrastructure are properly maintained and supported. Prepare weekly and monthly BIM progress reports, highlighting coordination status, model health, and key issues. Track BIM performance metrics such as model coordination turnaround time, clash resolution rate, and compliance scores. Continuously evaluate new BIM technologies and workflows for implementation across projects.
