The Database Expert will be responsible for managing SQL Server environments with a focus on performance optimization, high availability / disaster recovery (HA / DR), and robust backup strategies. The role ensures the security, availability, and reliability of critical data systems while collaborating with IT teams to support enterprise applications and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

Monitor and optimize SQL Server performance to ensure stability and efficiency. Design, implement, and manage HA / DR solutions to minimize downtime and data loss. Develop, implement, and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies. Collaborate with IT and application teams to support database-related needs. Ensure database security, compliance, and access control policies are enforced. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, providing timely escalation support. Maintain documentation, procedures, and standards for database operations. Support database upgrades, migrations, and integration with enterprise systems. Job Requirements

Minimum of +10 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Aviation industry experience is preferred. Strong expertise in SQL Server performance tuning, HA / DR, and backup strategies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Certifications : Microsoft SQL Server DBA Associate (Required); Azure DBA certifications (Preferred). Seniority level
